Negro Villages or Human Zoos
Negro Villages were very popular in Germany, were a version of Social Darwinism plays a great role. Even Bismark attended such Negro Village.
Human zoos were extremely popular between Western civilisations in 19th and 20th century. Also they were called "ethnological expositions", "Negro Villages" or “public exhibits of humans”.
Human zoos were found in Antwerp, London, Barcelona, Milan, New York and Warsaw with 200,000 to 300,000 visitors attending each exhibition .
In 1889 Parisian World's Fair presented a Negro Village, visited by 28 million of people.
In 1881 five Indians from Kawesqar tribe were abducted and transported to Europe for public exhibits of humans. In a year's time they died.
Africans put themselves on display alongside the apes to show their connection with these animals, which pretends to be stronger than the connection with people.
